what has everyone found the best for keepin lures organize and not a tangled mess when you go to grab your favourite lure during a hot bite from bream lures to skirts to deep divers i bought a couple of planno boxes with the read clip but found the plastic hinge gets stuck and bent out of shape and are more trouble than anything just looking for some new ideas or good tackle boxes that work and last a bit longer than the silly ones i bought

Ive found the plano boxes
Ive found the plano boxes with the yellow hinges to be a bit better quality for keeping lures in as for large hardbodies I use a water proof bag that has pvc tubes that Ive cut then glued together so the lure just slides in to place and no more tangles,as for skirts I use the large skirts wraps can fit four large williamson,or black pete skirts per compartment.

Got a couple of plastic boxes
Got a couple of plastic boxes that are made by Surecatch...I think that's what the company is called, with removable slots for bigger lures and have found them pretty handy. Was at BCF for $7 I think, each tray. I like them as they sit nicely in my backpack and they also hold sinkers, hooks etc so i can do away with the old tacklebox.

20 litre bucket....
....filled with PVC cut to equal the height of the bucket...I think around 50mm diameter. Really good for 15ish deep divers. It keeps going c**t up whenever I hit a wave so maybe one day I'll finally pull my finger out and tie it down!

I just use the cheapo mojiko
I just use the cheapo mojiko trays Callum. Mine came with a tacklebag but I know you can buy them seperately for a few bucks. Each one has up to 48 adjustable compartments so you can store all your bream lollies individually with no tangles. I've been using them for about two years & have had no problems with any of the hinges. Have a closer look next time we go for a fish.

Few months ago I've just found the ultimate place to find fishing tackle boxes.............my kitchen cupboard:) found containers all shapes n sizes that my missus had collected over the years. Kids small sandwich lunch boxes makes excellent waterproof bream lure storage. Larger ones hold my poppers, some hold my trolling lures.....etc. way better quality than those fragile clear Plano tackle boxes.
cheers

i just use a simple box that has adjustable compartment sizes, then i have these cheap sleev's that slip onto the treb hooks so the dont get tangled they pull of easy enough in the heat of battle too. as for big skirted lures im not sure as i dont have any but those water proof bags sound like the ticket to happiness

I buy treble hook covers.
I buy treble hook covers. Almost all my lures have treble hook covers from bream to GT poppers. Except for lures retrofitted with single hook, the rest have proper treble covers over them. You can get Owners ones or Surecatch ones. Owner ones have ventilation holes so you can dunk your lures after a trip in freshwater to soak for 10 minutes or so and just take it out and air dry.
The other brand ones does not have the holes so requires you to remove the cover to soak the lures, dry them separately and put them back together. Otherwise, the cleveage (that's what i call it) where the 3 hooks merge ofthen holds a bit of saltwater and this place will be the first to rust out.
Once you have the treble hook covers, you can put them in whichever container you find around. Go to Coles /Kmart/BigW and get one of those Klip-it containers and you can put as many lures together and the trebles wouldn't tangle.
I notice i often bring 20-40 lures on each outing but at the end of the day only a handful are being used. So just bring those that you need!

I bought soft tackle bag
I bought soft tackle bag from a place in the US called Cabelas. They have some brilliant storage systems at good prices and well worth having sent to here.

Boxes
I use the Plano lure rolls for trolling lures http://www.planomolding.com/product.php?PID=687
And then the hard bodies are in Plano trays in a soft sided bag so I can just take out the trays that suit the fishing I will or might be doing.
Keeps them more organized at home and on the boat when you can just grab the trays you need for the day
