The Lure Tackle Shop Joondalup Closing Down Sale

Just been down to the Lure in Winton Rd Joondalup, and they are closing down, with all stock discounted by 40%. So if you are keen for a bargain, head down there. The proprietor is retiring and going fishing. Good on him!

another one gone!
Joondalup was a great spot to have a tackle store but growth with more tackle stores has sort of killed the area imo. Johns a nice guy, well done as an independent......another one gone which is a shame!

OMG once i read this thread.....
omg once i read this thread when there straight away !!! and i spent money OMG i can't believe it ?!!! hmmm spent $199.00 OMG thats alot for me !! i blame you andy mac...haha and i thx u !!! otherwise i wouldnt know it plus i got a good deal out of it ...i know i didnt buy the best quality but am happy... i bought a boat rod combo...pflueger contender...worth $250

the lure price are cheap for the sale but there are some marked up prices!! like snapper sinkers size 2 80 cents omg i almost fainted...places like complant, annaconda or ranger are only selling like 40 cents each....do u guys guys think buying the pfluger contender G30 reel and rod combo with pfluger is worth it for 150 ?? i think actual price is 250?? hmm can i have some feedbacks?

I went last night
I went last night quickly.....pretty average shop and IMO pretty average bloke too! Ive shoped there absolutly heaps of times as its not far from home and ive spent quite a few dollars mind you too over the past. Anyway last night the best price on a TLD50 lrs 2speed started at $695! Piss off mate cambells have got them out for $399 ATM! I thought that was funny because he then turned around and said "Come on Chris, you"ve got plenty of money!" Trust me when i say he got a polite anwser. Not bad considering its 40% and he knows ya name hey?.......I did buy another kayak stick though for $25...good deal.

You didnt get the contender that cheap kaitan but by no means were you ripped off. It wasnt 40% thats for sure :P

Yeah hes a nice bloke "most" of the time but even my misses was pissed off with his comments and said to him "hey if its 40% its 40% off. Simple as that" quite funny really. Na good luck to him and i only wish i could say that is was retiring for full time fishing adventures. Wish the bloke well, and i have to say it is sad to see the "good shops" closing slowly. I always have and always will support the small guys. Even if its not the best price at the time. Theres no just to many left thats all.
