Mackerel Islands

Hi Everyone
I went to the Mackies in 2010 and 2011 and were looking at going again as its an awesome spot.
Just wondering if anyone has been there since they scaled back the tourism on the island?
And has the dredging work affected the fishing there?
any info would be very helpfull

was there in Septmber. 2
was there in Septmber. 2 units were made availalbe for the public, with island very quiet otherwise.
Fishing was brilliant as always. dredging was between thevenard and bessier - no impact to us at all.
