The jetty there can be good, but it does get packed at times, plus theres a resident ray or 2. But I guess you can fish from the rocks all up and down there. When the currents not too strong...

If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

on the way from Falcon going south/west. Do yourself a big favour & download Google earth. its the best thing since barbed hooks! You can use your mouse to zoom in , zoom out, revolve the globe etc. & move in any direction.
Just type in ' jolly frog mandurah west australia'
Suppose berley would bring them round, but also the nuisance fish like big rays & puffer fish.

Awesome, sounds like you had a great session.

We were down there on Sat night on the opposite side and further down, and managed to hook the resident stingray lol took us a while to reel him in and just as we got him to the rocks the line snapped lol so no pics.

Good to hear you had success!

I am looking forward to trying under the bridge when I move to Capel & visit my daughter in Mandurah. There are even special fishing spots in the carpark across the highway for pensioners only. Sh--! now you know I`m not a young snapper!!

Fair enough Shortly!!

yeah its a bit hairy on the rocks at night & anyway theres often rats living under them living on dropped bait & berley scraps so the areas for pensioners are OK for whenchioners too, HA HA!

You are right about the rats though, although we didnt see any down there, we did manage to have a cheeky little mouse take a liking to our burley, keept making lightening raids on it lol.
