plenty about, getting our 20 in two pulls the last 3 days... 3 day old neck chops put back in the freezer for next time...

been a bit lean further north.
I've only crabbed Mandurah a few times, when people talk about deeper water down there, what depth are we talking about? there doesn't seem to be a lot of "deep" water about.

I'ld call deep about 3 - 4 metres
If you have a look at a chart for the Mandurah estuary system you will find a couple of small areas that have water of this depth. The areas of this depth are very small and it is first come first has the area. If you try water 1.5 - 2 metres you should do all right as this is were a lot of good size crabs are coming from.

Went out yesterday at lunch
Went out yesterday at lunch time and bagged out easy. Crabs are big and plump. Chucked heaps of sized ones back as there were plenty of bigger models to keep. Was only in 1.4 - 1.6m of water. A few dirty Ray's around though grrrrrr!
