Mangrove Jack or Red Bass

Hello people, can anyone tell me if a Red Bass has teeth? Lately I have been catching alot of what appears to be mangrove Jack with the nasty looking teeth. The great book says that the two can be mixed up rather easily and in the pics they show them both and the Red Bass has no teeth. I went out for a fish today out around Rotto way and caught what appears to be Mangrove Jack at a tad over 40cm. Is it possible that they are moving southward from their normal temp waters??

Any info would be great

Cheers

Terry

Ok, I was just looking through the "Perth off shore fishing" section and saw the same species being held up by one of the fellas. I did notice the black marking around it arse and it does look exactly the same as the Blackarse shown.

Here is a pic of a nice Red Bass for comparison.  Lots of teeth and bad manners.
