Why maxtraxx? I rekon treads do the same job, I've got the 1100mm treads and they have gotten me out of some good bogs in the sand and are cheaper than the traxx too!
Thats true, I guess if you got a hilux there would be no need for any recovery tracks!
But seriously, I'm not saying don't buy Maxtraxx, I'd just be having a look at some treads first before you make your mind up because it might save you some coin.

I've seen reports
That Treds will snap when used on rocks or when subjected to a large amount of folding/distortion
If it's just sand use then they'll be fine but if you want to use them elsewhere, be careful.
