Metro Macks on new nub
Hey Guys
My new tub arrived from sydney on friday arvo.. Took her home and had the boys come round to have a few drinks on it.
The plan saturday was to spend the morning giving it a wash after being on the truck.. Had a guy come put a HIN number on it first thing. Once he left the weather was still looking good..
We were on the way to hillarys ramp at 12 to take it for a quick spin and see how she goes.. on the way to the ramp we saw how good the weather was so turned around and went back and got the mackie rods.
Back at the ramp 2 mins later, we launched for the first time. Headed straight for rotto. the twin 200hp s were humming along.
Within 45 mins of being at rotto off went the rod.. The result a nice metro mackie on the new tub.
there was plenty of bait around
Left soon after that as the storm came in.. not a bad 1.5hrs testing the ride.
Hopefully this is a good sign ahead
cheers

Way to christen the boat!

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
