Metro marlin

Perth Game Fishing Club ran the Marlin Cup over the weekend just gone (13th/14th). It turned out to be a great tournament.
Overall 23 boats managed to raise 13 marlin, hooked up 11 and tagged 5. Four blue marlin and one striped marlin.
With good looking water and good weather over the coming months now is the time to have a crack at it.

One of those blues was on my mate's boat. I'm still recovering from shoulder surgery or else I would have been there too.

Most fish were raised around
Most fish were raised around the northern FADs. There was good water colour, a couple of decent temp breaks (around 0.5 to 1 deg C). Depth not really important, much more about the water conditions.
