nah just a small school went
nah just a small school went past which I hooked 2 and dropped. This was out of nowhere.....thought I had a bonnie but it jumped 30m out

You must have had fun landing him from the rocks on bream gear. It doesn't look like you have much weight in the leader, so I am assuming you netted it or wrestled it up the rocks.
That's an extra special capture.

ah.....I dont use my bream
ah.....I dont use my bream gear to target pissy bream anymore......so my leader tends to be over the top......thats 30lb flourocarbon.....with 1kg skippies and bonitos about gotta need it......
Just let the water wash it into a safe landing spot and tailed it.

Hey there,
nice salmon that... well done!!
Where is a commonly known area, preferably from the beach, in the metro where I can target these salmon while they are around. Is floreat drain any good maybe?? Seeking advice for a rookie :)

Swanbourne beach, City
Swanbourne beach, City Beach, Floreat and all the way up to Scaborough's Brighton Beach......
Only places south I can think of that may hold fish is the beaches north and south of Dawesville Cut.....havent heard anything north of Mandurah yet.....
