missing freediver-Dampier

there appears to be a search going on for a missing freediver somewhere around Dampier Archipelago-hopefully he is found ok, as it is getting dark now?

Great place Delambre Island, but would not wont to be in the water after dark..
I've spent half my life fishing.. The other half I have wasted..

not good Delambre Is is a very sharky area and can have a strong rip , Hope he is a good swimmer and makes it ashore before dark . I have dived that area heaps wasn't 1 of my first choices when we did a night dive

I suspect he was diving "The Aquarium" which is close to shore, but wow as Gilly have said soooo lucky.

a very good result heaps of the locals joined in on the search he was in the water for 7 hrs before he got to the island and like paul said a cold lonely night

smart kid
Smart 19 year old from what I've heard. Buried himself in the sand over night. Turned his wetsuit inside out to show the red when waving for help.
