Is nayone on here an auto sparky, or know one south of the river, (cockburn way)?
i have electric brakes on my trialer. Ive replaced my battery box (and thus the little circuit board), replaced like for like and my trailer does not want to engage the brakes anymore, pull the emergency pin and it works but not from the car signal. im sure ive got it all connected the same so its got me stuffed. i would like soemone who knows what htey are doing to come and diagnose it.
thanks in advance

Try Auto Electrical Designs
Try Auto Electrical Designs in O’Connor they fitted my brake controller. Quite a few FW members recommended this company too

so it seems they might not
so it seems they might not be teh same, i have made some assumption in there. a pro series breakway controller came off and ive put a reese one on. same wires, same everything but there is nothing to say hte circuit board is the same. right?!
my car has a redarc towpro.

Does the tow pro light show
Does the tow pro light show its connected? It could be possible that the wiring may be different but I'm not familiar with the reese model

They don't all wire the same
My Dexter Axle was wired a certain way from new, brakes wouldn't work on car, took it to auto sparky, he said it was wired wrong, did it his way, still no go. I restored it to original configuration, and found it was just the Redarc Tow Pro--it had been installed and connected for a fair while with nothing towed, needed to be powered down completely to start learning again.
