Monster mesh max advice
Submitted by ricey on Thu, 2013-05-23 17:23
Looking for a bottom bouncing rod to match a talica 12 with pe 6 boat braid fishing 16 or even more oz lead in 80m. I usually fish talica 8 pe 4, but want heavier set up for poor conditions needing more lead or stopping monsters quicker.
i was thinking pe 5-6 daiwa demon blood, but also picked up the monster mesh max mxc531-300 which is a 5ft 3inch 300g max rod. I think I preferred the monster mesh and it was over $100 cheaper. I liked the shorter length, keen on five to five and a half foot.
Any feedback on the rod or any other idea or suggestions or even rods you want to offload?
cheers

Eupro
The Eupro Jigman OH PE 3-6 would be more than suitable. And has a firm enough action to suit bouncing 16oz sinkers and not load the rod so you get better hook setting power. They use Fuji rell seats and Fuji K series guides too. These are $295 for Fishwrecked members.

I saw one in bcf
I did like it. Went to closing down sale and bought a pe 3 -6 ajiking that was similar but better and great price so bought it.
thanks to all for advice, I also decided no need for talica 8 and 12, but if I did would definitely have a look at the venom.
