hey guys need some advise. Planning a trip to the montes with a few other boats and working out dates that suit all parties. problem is the only time that suits everyone will be fishing on spring tides.
my question is will this limit our options ei bottom bouncing jigging ect...
your thoughts are appreciated

Nope. Not that much movement over there.

Really???
I was over there a couple years ago and there was a LOT of movement, especially between islands. We would be doing 8 knots and not moving against the current.

I reckon the water was dropping 3-4m and each morning we put the boat out further and each morning she was on her belly!

Yeah. 3-4m is a massive tide over there. I suppose its all relative to what you are used to. 4m of movement is still a neap tide here.
I've never been stranded in any of the trips I've done. Not hard to calculate what the depth will be at the bottom of the tide and anchor accordingly.
It does rip through a couple of areas where you have a large body of water going through a narrow opening.
