Hey all, just a quick report on moore river. Did an all nighter saturday night with my son and a couple of mates. Perfect night from sunset to sunrise. Slight southerly until about 10pm then a gentle easterly until we left at about 8am. Weed is all gone and the surf was perfect, just a bit choppy but low swell. Nailed the usual suspects... shovelnose, rays etc and three nice tailor. No mulla yet !! thought that was going to be the night for one... ah well it was better than sittin on the coutch at home :)

i was up there Thursday to Sunday and only fished the ocean friday morning (due to young kids). we ended up with a few tailor, small flathead, some dart and the biggest herring i've seen in years.
couldn't get over teh sheer quantity of fish inside the river. got a few whiting as keepers but everything else was pretty tiny. good fun though.
