Moped has no spark

Howdy all
i need some help, my young blokes moped stopped on him last night, so after having a quick look this morning I can see that it is not getting any spark. I replaced the spark plug with a new one but still have no spark, any suggestions as to what to do now or what to look at, any input would be most appreciative.

check the spark plug cable,
check the spark plug cable, make sure it hasnt been disconnected inside the head piece

Check all the earth wires
Check all the earth wires then check the plug lead resistance. If there's still no spark after that test the coil, stator & magneto.
