More macs and YFT

A few more macs from yesterday with Chrisp and Langa on Langas floating gin palace. Glad we were on the big girl, conditions were shiite.

Also got 4 hits that did not hook up, a small sharkie mac (which we suspect were the non hookups) , two small YFT on jig which will make great sashimi, plus about 12 stripies, mostly on PE2 jig in one hot little session when we hit a big school. fun!

Chris already knows what I

Chris already knows what I think of this ;)

We made it to the 40s in our 16fter just before it realy blew up. Nothing on the sambo lump and after a couple spews I decided was time to go inshore for a muck around. Quickest I could go without flooding the boat was 8knts lol. Hit some serious bait from 38m all the way to 29m so pulled some plastic for naught!

So, whats the secret?!
21.9 degrees for most of the way and the only surface action we encountered was a record amount of flying fish all through the 30s.

The fact I knew who it was before looking at the author suggests you're really killing them. Top work!!

Ahh John - you are killing me here.

Have a charter booked for this weekend, and looks like it's going to get blown out for a third time in a row. Not ideal!

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

 Missed it by one week

Missed it by one week Dan.......Hooked a few nice seriola as well on, I got bricked, Matt got his donkey to the boat only to have the split ring pull open as we pulled it in and Chris's double granny knot failed on his fish......

Spewing! You'll no doubt have mint weather between now and when I'm back next in October.

Just like they had mint weather in Eastbourne the weekend I was back in Perth haha.
