Probs save yourself the
Probs save yourself the drive/fuel and just fish guilford, just as good. No as much chance of bycatch ie tailor flathead rays crabs but good chance of a decent bull shark to pull.some string. Fish with what ever bait is around, live grunter, mullet, bonies. As long as you fish a few hours either side of a tide change your in with a chance anywhere in the river. Keep an eye out for schooling bait. Good luck

I don't know too much about
I don't know too much about mulloway fishing however I know schools of soapies are at the upper reaches of the swan and canning currently.
Lots of mulloway in Kalbarri from about August to about the end of summer off the beach if you have the beach rod and reel and are willing to camp or stay in Kalbarri or at the Wagoe beach challes. It's really nice up there!
Fishing the swan for bream, it's just an obsession
