There was a swan sleeping on the ramp. Very windy but 19 real big boys. 64 cm point to point.

HUGE
164 Cm? That would be maasive for a blue crab, Not doubting you Unc but do you mean 164mm point to point?
That would still be a great crab.

Correct
My mistake for writing 164cm, you did say 64cm, my query was did you mean 164mm, as thinking 64cm would be huge, but perhaps as Piggy mentioned probably across nippers,
I was only asking Unc as if measurement of 64cm point to point is correct, (and I am not saying it isn't) that would be a huge crab.
But whatever the size you are certainly smashing it, so well done for putting in the hard yards and early starts.

Killing it Unc. Are they nice
Killing it Unc. Are they nice and meaty? I'm tossing up whether to hit the Swan or Peel for a feed this weekend and would rather get half a dozen meaty big ones that a dozen smaller ones

What depth have you been finding them? We went out on Sunday and tried about 6m, tried in front of the brewery, tried down towards the raffles and only managed 3 haha

Plenty of 7 seater vans down
Plenty of 7 seater vans down at Island Point taking their full 70 out after a scoop. Even 80y old grandma and the baby who seemingly sit on the shore the whole time are able to catch their 10 each.

Exactly
Thats crap when people take that many crabs, IMO they don’t keep well and you couldn’t eat that many at one sitting with 8 people imo
still trying
