My Boat - For Keeny & Others

In reponse to a few PMs about my boat, I thought I'd post a few pics. It's a Carribean Adventurer 5.83m Fibreglass (FRP) Cuddy Cab:

The tell tail 'manta' bow sprit of all Carribeans:

A couple of overall boat shots:

The original bulkhead - open to V birth - not something that appealed to me:

So Bridge layout, with a partial view of bulkhead skirt I requested:

The targa, rocket launcher and extended bimini I had fitted:

Thanks carassius! The OB is a 115 Opti(max). I bought the boat on a special deal from the dealer with the OB fitted, but did an extensive deck and OH refit before taking delivery. The 115 is fine with two or three on board (45 knots at WOT when conditions are perfect) - but strugles if you have four big bods on board and the seas are a bit rough. Still, that's very rare and he 115, with a 140L tank gives it plenty of range.

Good luck with the powerball! Wink

Colin

Looks really seaworthy and comfortable. Love the big donk. Bet you have had some great times in her.

Thanks for that Colin, yes we certainly had some GREAT times and some 'memorable moments'. Our first time sleeping overnight and getting up early in the morning for an onboard breaky was wonderful. And one boxing day with the kids - a lovely warm glassy day out from Carnac was another wonderful moment.
