My braid to mono wind on is clunky through guides

I mean it clunks through the guides more than i like during casting ( im using an Albright knot ) Any recommendations for EASY better knots or perhaps a product to smooth over knots ?......would be great

It's not easy until you master it but it's the best knot I know for casting with a wind on leader.

Seems to be lots of knot specialists here but I think us older fellas have it sussed. "Easy" is not always best when it comes to tackle management.
