My first stingray.

Went back to Quinns this afternoon to have another fish seeing as conditions seemed favourable. We where there for a while with not a bite, then all of a sudden the line started peeling off the reel and next thing we see is this stingray jumping out of the water, which was really cool. It was foul hooked but still managed to land the sucker

They pull pretty hard Shortly
And get really cranky when you get them on the sand. Got to watch them stingers - those ones can do some damage.

Stingers
Yup, those wings make for a good line stretch. Copped one of those barbs in the side of my foot once. Ouch!

Have to admit he wasnt terribly cranky. But he sure was making some noise until i got him back in the water. Which sort of surprised me seeing as I didnt know they made sound.
