mw87 if your dad is interested in an old Harley, let me know & i will give you the contact number of a buddy of mine that imports them from Canada. A few months ago he had 2 1940's single seaters in great condition.
should record the exhaust note of the Triton on full song , heaps better than a Harley , you would need more than a bex and a lay down think you might shed a tear in memory if you could hear it ,oh yea and the smell of burnt av gas isn't bad either nearly as good as burnt Methonol (from my old speedway days)
if you had them in the past I am betting you would ride them again uncle once its in your blood you never loose it do you mate but you do get street smarter
Hey yeah I'm a fan of these my bro in law has a vintage James in really good order he was contemplating selling. But his daily rider is a triumph with new spray job, he even got the ol 350 twin banger which is he'll good
the Triton is a 650 triumph engine that runs on ave gas mounted in a Norton slim line featherbead frame front brake is a twin leading shoe of a Norton commando all engine mounts were hand made Borrani rims it goes like stink and handles like it is on rails I intend to take it to the vintage and veteran Australian race championships in Victoria next year if I can get a decent rider for it , the other bike is a 1962 600cc Norton Dominator 99 (very rare) that is a 1 kick starter running on premium unleaded with a fuel additive , got my eye on a 1928 Rudge that is a runner and a Manx Norton that is seized but would be a good project this is the best hobby you can have when the weather is to crappy to fish

I'm in my 20's... That thing looks amazing. My old man is looking for an older Harley, I'm going to convince him to search for one of those.

Arrrh those were the days
Seeing those bikes just gave me a rush of blood, I think I best have a bex powder and a little lay down.
You have pure gold my friend pure gold.
