National park pass

Recently moved to Esperance and bought a park pass, no sweat happy to do the right thing, however got some mates coming down n we might drive through the parks with them which can be expensive over the course of a week or so.

Have spoken to a few guys down here and they are saying if you have a boat fishing license then that covers you to go into the national parks as well.

Can anyone confirm this ?

P.s yesterday's morning walk

See the last line of this page, very open to interpretation. I would be calling the local ranger beforehand for their understanding.

RAC members can get 50% off annual and months passes, buy direct from rac online and print out. Pass is tied to vehicle rego.

For that, I'll take it at face value as I always keep a rod in the car

or view it as a donation

if you use the facilities in the park why not pay for the pass as it goes to the upgrading and maintaining the facilities.   $80 a year or $40 via the RAC is bloody reasonable value for the quality of the patks down that way

Best $22 ever spent I reckon Striker, I buy one every year down here in Espy.
The go with the fishing licences is that entry into NP is free if you intend to go there and Boat fish, get abs, use nets etc. Fishing from shore wouldn't count

notice diver albie that I am happy to pay if you read my post, in fact I still buy all the licenses every year just in case I  need em even if like down here I don't use em maybe  due to the weather or whatever.

The first thing my wife n I did was to pay the $22 for a park pass n I thought it an absolute bargain .

However never happy with the government double dipping, like most people I just pay so I feel I'm doing the right thing n I will admit to not reading every last line of every fisheries regulation , I read bag limits n size limits to do the right thing but I bet there's plenty of crew out there that are being charged twice for their recreational hobby n why should I or they  be happy with that?

I make donations to charity not the government.

The wasteful disrespect governments have for public money has no limits.

Take the kayak in and a recy licence.
