Metro Sharks

I haven't posted here for a while, but still out there fishing doing my thing. Headed out early Thursday morning first boat at the ramp. Got to my spot still dark and started to berley up. In a short amount of time a few baitfish turned up and really came on the bite after first light.out went a couple of livies. Baits were in the water about an hour when I got my first run and after a short battle number one was in the boat. A nice Longnose Grey Shark of around a meter or so. A quick photo and into the bucket head first for bleeding. Next second I was on and again another short but good battle number two was on board. Straight into the bucket for bleeding again alongside number one. Before I could relax I was on again with the third. It had plenty of mates following it up too. It was a proper feeding frenzy. Sharks everywhere. I got this one in and decided that will do. I could've caught and released many more if I wanted but no need. I also managed quite a few baitfish to stock up for next session. There were Blue Mackerel, Scalies, Herring, Yellowtail and even Gardies in the berley trail. I got my limit of Sharks and baitfish and left them while still biting. Can't complain with a Metro session like that aye.

Well done. Great feeds on the way.
Do you gut asap . I found they are way better if gutted and on ice within 10 minutes at most. Usually gutting them while the nerves still twitching.

Yes they were all gutted and finned very quickly. Like I said they were virtually caught one after another. I had two lines out and hooked up seconds after pulling one in. I bled them head first via their gills in a bucket.Straight after this photo it was all done and on ice. They were virtually still bleeding in this pic, I'd just wiped them for the pic.
