Naturaliste reef

Hi guys, fairly new to boating in the southwest and based in Bunbury.
Would anybody care to give me a pointer as to how to find the naturaliste reef? I have heard that it is some 37 km or is that nm out from Bunbury, headed southwest but something more specific would be appreciated.
Thanks guys,

GPS
Stick the cursor of your GPS on it then expand the picture till you find a spot where you think you may geta fish then push the go to button.
You have to keep your wits about you round the reef because it does break and not always where you think , is a dangerous spot if the swell is up
The 19 fathom area just to the east of the reef used to turn up some good fish

As Carnarvonite said be very
As Carnarvonite said be very carefull out there as the swell can mount up very quickly, without warning and in unlikely places. Aslo be very confident in yourself, your boat, your crew and your gear out there, as its a long way out if something goes wrong. About 10 or so years ago a boat sank out there, think it might have been a cat thats hull broke??? Cant remember exactly but i think about 3 or 4 people died. Very sad.
That aside it is a very big reef system(check it out on a Nautical Map) coming right up to 50cm deep out of the 30-40m area.
Some of the reef get flogged pretty hard but fishos and spearos as it very easy to find the main shallow areas if you have a GPS/plotter, so i often find its better to try a located isolated reefs away from the main feature on the charts.
There is another reef area to the SW of Naturaliste Reef a few miles called South West Bank, comes up to about 18m deep out of 40m. I have done pretty good here before for demerals, but again always looking for the isolated reefs away from the main chart feature.
Naturaliste Reef is almost bascially due West of Bunbury(slightly north a few degrees) 30nm and north of Cape Naturaliste.

Sticks out like dog's balls
Sticks out like dog's balls on your gps, the other boys above have mentioned the safety aspect well. Last time I was out that way I could hear the swells thumping off it & I wasn't even remotely close to the bank.
Good luck, stay safe

as others have said
eep your wits about you having a solid wall of water some 5 - 6 metres high and very steep coming at you out of the blue is a testing moment and not one you wish to encounter again (speaking from experiance)look at the forecast wave and swell hight before going there and keep your eye on the sounder paying particular attention to sharp rising drop offs that is where we nearly came unstuck.
