Navionics Gold in Humm 798ci problem

Hi guys

Yesterday went out and the Plotter suddenly defaulted to an auto map function, which I suspect is the basic map in the unit. Showed no nav markers or underwater structure/contours, and was as usefull as a nun at a party.

Question is do the Navionics Cards fail, should I get a new one, should I swap the storage card and nav card to other slot (ie swap them over) etc.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Neels

Ill do that. Didnt do it on the boat because I am blind as a bat reading wise and it was dark. Didnt want to root the whole kit but will give that a go.

Needs do you have the lock out tab engaged on the card. I've got a998 and have the tab out so no info gets recorded on to it.
