Does anyone know where I can get an areial for my navman 7270 27 meg radio? Can't seem to find who stocks Navman marine products.

If it's 27mhz, then any 27mhz antenna will be ok to use. Just ensure the SWR is ok when you set it up.

Navman are no longer making
Navman are no longer making radios or antennas, so you probably won't be able to find a a Navman whip to suit a Navman base. You will need to purchase another brand, and replace both the base and whip. I just replaced my navman vhf whip and base with Pacific aerial stuff. It's quality gear, made in NZ. And best of all, the holes for the pacific base matched the holes for the navman base, so I didn't need to drill any more holes in the boat.

Pacific aerials
Can you tell me were you got the Pacific aerials from and what size and price you paid for them. I have got to replace my VHF and 27 meg aerials, thanks

I bought mine from Boating
I bought mine from Boating Warehouse in O'Connor. I think it was about $90 for the base, including 5m of cable. I can't remember how much the whip was, but I bought the longest one available, which I think was 2.5m. Pacific make a couple of different ranges, and I bought from the Longreach Pro range. It had to be ordered in as they didn't carry them in stock.

Pacific renamed
Navman antennas are made by pacific but just rebadged as either navman or northstar in the later versions

No worries mate. From memory
No worries mate. From memory mine was only about $60 when I got it in dec last year from Joondalup bcf which was cheaper than I expected. I was actually looking at them the other day when I was in mandurah bcf too and they had a mix of GME and pacific. Cheers. Westy
