Well it has been a long five months but just a few cosmetic adjustments and the Smuggler will be ready. Thanks to Sonic Signs Wangara for the modernising of the Bahia Mar trim and a very stunning effort by Boat Canopies WA for the full canopy and clears.
Also Moomba a great machine that 225 Mercury is. Cruises very happily at 30 knots. Have changed her down to a 15P four blade and this has increased its performance quite noticeably. Here are a few before and after pics.

Mooomba??? hahaha
Looking awesome mate... Love how you have the two areas to unzip in the canopy so you can poke your head through.... I need to get that done to the Reef Runner!!
That thing would sing with the 15 deg pitch prop!!! Have you wound her out yet? Should be able to pull close to 50 knots out of her!!!

Sorry
If this was an Iphone you would see how redfaced I am right now. Sorry Dooma. My memory is not what it was and I got that wrong!!!!.
Spitfire I am waiting on the final seat to arrive next week. I am weighing up whether to put the name back on the side in similar style of the Bahia Mar or to leave it off. What do other fishwreckers think?
Actually, Southcity, this is our third resto. The first one was a 17' Supreme Craft. It was a good boat too just too small. Thankyou all for your compliments too by the way.

slower
Dooma,
The motor does now wot at 5600rpm before the rev limiter sets the alarm off however it now does just under 40knots. And from my last report, here is a pic of the Supreme Craft.

5600 rpm = just under 40
5600 rpm = just under 40 knots??
Must be to do with the shape of the hull?? On the reef runner.. I would be doing a solid 40 knots at 4850 rpm...
I wouldnt have thought yours would weigh more than mine either?? The old Caribbean reef runner is not a light boat... Especially with my fat ass and carrying so much spare gear on board!! lol

Tres bonne
Dooma,
Just thought you'd want to know we finally finished those fillets you so kindly gave me when we left. Probably, with out a doubt the best fish we ever tasted. Thankyou once again.
