In need of Ali welder

 Hi there is anyone/ does anyone know a good Ali welder had a support bar on the t top of the boat crack on the weekend. Preferably mobile and the boats in claremont. Cheers in advance

 Not sure a reweld will do. Looks pretty thin gauge and its only going to make it brittle and prone to cracking again. nay need to be sleeved. Whats the shit on the welds.

 Agree with holth, would need some material added to so it wouldnt do it again. Not many people do mobile alloy welding cause of atmosphere problems messing with the welds. 

The guys at Marineline (www.google.com.au/url  )  do a great job and i have used them a few times over the years.

 PS: As for the stuff on the welds, I would say they used a different grade of alloy filler rods ( or wire ) to join the tube. Looks like the weld is a lower grade alloy than the tube and thats why it is showing corrosion.

 Stress cracking, usually due to undercut on the weld. Definitely needs to be sleeved as the parent material is now fatigued.
