need some help squiding - landbased

looking for some tips into where -in the swan or boat harbours ..... is it better during the day or at night under lights ..... live baits or jigs ? been putting in some serious hours(trying all of the above, but fishing unknown waters doesnt help) with no luck and its doing my head in,or is it only worth targeting squid in the summer ?

inside Hillarys marina at night, You could try the small wharf to the west of the service wharf behind Aqwa or the area between Spinnakers Restaurant and the boat pens on the north side of the marina. Squid jigs work well there.

Lots of smaller ones around at hillaries, smallest jig you can find is the go as they can be finicky.
