Flat Rocks Landbased.

Spent the day and night fishing FlatRocks area On the weekend..Bloody Freezing and bugger all fish.
Only landed 4 Tailor in the evening and small whiting during the day. Fished Muffler Beach and Loonies
also just a few herring. No Tailor in the AM. Track in and and out is Good. Beach soft. Still a few areas weeded but Flat Rocks waters were ideal just short on fish.
Heres hoping the Fishwrecked Landbased weekend is a bit warmer and more productive.

Still not many fish up

Sat, 2008-08-16 18:44

Still not many fish up there,Frown went up during the week for an overnighter. Soaked big lines from about 5.00pm through till lunch time the next day. Only managed one Port Jackson and a few small Whiting. Not even Herring.Frown Tried near Flatrocks for half the time then close to the Rivermouth for the rest. Lots of seaweed everywhere but fishable in sections. Some sections on the beach were very soft and could see a couple of spots where other 4x4s had been seriously bogged.

Hopefully you guys have much better luck.

Danny

No........ Guilderton-Moore

Tue, 2008-08-19 16:47

No........ Guilderton-Moore River. (Wilbinga) Apparently the seaweed situation was getting heaps better this week with less around and a few good gutters to fish, but still pretty quiet on the fishing though.
