boating in mandurah

Hey guys. taking the kids down to crab in the peel inlet on the weekend. was hoping to drivethe boat up afterwards to the bay and get an ice cream from simmos. Can anyone tell me if this is accessible, and if there is anywhere to dock, to quickly run in? or is it too shallow/restricted access? i will not be very popular if ice cream isnt an option!!

cheers!

theres jetty or wall to tie up to in front of todds cafe and san churros, not sposed to tie up at main jetty where ferrys pickup directly out

from Simmons but ive seen ppl do it when ferrys arent there and thers

no wall orjetty spots left.

They have polite young ladies that come out and ask you not to park there.

Mandurah is great for that

Mandurah is great for that sort of thing. I've stayed on the canals for a week and not used the car once except to get more fuel for the boat.

You could tell the kids they sell icecream at the Boundary Island Brewery instead though
