New Boat Chivers Thresher 190 SF
Submitted by grandadbazza on Sat, 2013-08-03 07:52
This is my new boat a Chivers 190SF with a 150hp Yamaha.
Very pleased with the boat. have had it out in winds a bit over 30 knots and it handled it beautifully.
I must say when I was looking at which boat to buy CCC's write ups on his then 190 centre console certainly influenced my decicion to purchase the Chivers.
Had it 2 weeks and the first service (20 hours) is already due.

That looks great the paint job really sets it off. Whats the actual hull length of that model?

No comparison
Have just been down to our local festival and had a look at the Bar Crusher boats on display which along with Surtees would have been the only other boats I would have looked at.
For what I want in a boat I think the Chivers was definitely the right choice. Each to his own of course but I think the level of finish and the fit out in the Chivers would be hard to beat.
