New Hardtop
Submitted by big john on Thu, 2014-03-20 17:42
Finally got around to getting a hardtop fitted to the good ship, Further North.
Jim and his team at Marineline did a great job, it's now currently with WA Boat Canopies awaiting the clears. Hopefully pick it up Friday week.
Here's a few pics of the job from go to whoa.

Something rigid to grab whilst accessing the front is always overlooked by builders.

Very nice, is it built strong enough to walk on? Looks like it is, I like the look of the rail around the side

Strength
Not sure about walking on it Josh but I had it made with the goal of being able to tie down swags etc to it.
Be a lot easier walking up front now with a decent grab rail scotto.

Nice, just needs some decking timber and some downlights on the underside
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Thanks for the PM John.
Any idea of the weight? I am considering putting a hard top on mine. Do like the grab rails on the roof, much safer for the anchor wench.

Unsure of weight, probably should have weighed it beforehand.
Final price was in the middle of that price range I pm'd you.
Solly, planning to paint it but a little bit further down the track.
