Have been reading reports on this web site for a while now trying to better my knowledge of my new home in mandurah and thanks to some cracking story's and photos have started to understand a bit better the local area and it's waters time to give back I think so here are pics from a little run out the cut to the southern end of the James service reef and a couple of extras from a recent trip to exmouth

I dont think I would have

Well after that time
it certainly wouldnt have been green, and certainly would have needed help.
When I took a Perth based mate up fishing off dampier I didnt realize he had a noah on whilst I was battling another behemoth (mine turned out to be a huge dusky morwong). Idiot brought it onboard and now we had a 5ft crazy Fkr trying to destroy/eat/slap everything in sight. It was just to wild to try and grab or jump on so we all just sat on the gunnels bitching (I was still battling the dusky on light gear).
I think it took 10min to calm down and then a quick ditch overboard. Looked rather flat for a few seconds but then got a second wind, took off like a bullet and jumped about 15ft behind the boat. Luckily only damage was a ding in the mates beer esky (and some shook up frothies) but I will never bring a shark onboard that I dont entend to eat, and then only after a few good Babe Ruth's.

agreed - wouldn't want a toothy that big on the deck! Must have been heavy as hell to get on board also
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
