Hi not sure if this is the right forum or not but here goes,,,is anyone getting a boat build by these boys, they are in Port Kennedy, W.A.
Reason I ask is they are having some suppy issues which has set my start date back from the start of July to now possibly mid August, so I was wondering if anyone elese has the same issues?

Just about every trade is having material supply issues, myself included. Basic steel sections even hard to get, most are 4-6 weeks.

July to august?
People are having 6 month - 1 year delays in houses being built. Caravan build wait lists a year. Buying a new car and if it's anything decent they won't have stock for months. A month sounds attractive for a delay.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

demand
its the demand, more than the supply! acknowleding COVID is causing international supply issues as well though.
conduit, PVC, poly line, timbers, all up 30% cost increases. structural steel is skyrocketing. labourers are all shit again. trades like brickies are earning 3 times as much per brick from about $1.20 per laid brick, up over $3 per brick!
i'm kinda looking forward to an interest rate hike, to settle things down a bit!
