The BONITO are one fish in particular that are being keenly targeted by land based anglers. The most common mistake people make in targeting Bonito is using lures that are physically too big. Currently these larger lures are not suitable because the bonito are smashing schools of tiny bait fish. One of the best options in matching these small bait fish whilst maintaining a solid cast weight is with the use of a SEA IRON SUPERSPRAT. We stock them in 3 sizes 21g, 45g and 65g which are 60mm, 75mm and 85mm long respectively small in size but heavy enough to cast out and reach bonito schools where others lures wouldn't reach. With Salmon season basically on metro waters doorstop , we stock up on stick baits , as this is in our opinion the best way to catch Salmon, and watching them hunt a stick bait on a calm day definitely gets the heart ticking.
