New regulations next month

Just havin a look over the new regulations and there seems to be a few changes
i live in the Gascogne region and it now seems up here we can get 3 reds each (was 2), 3 cod each (was 2) but now only 3 baldies. Total limit of 5 and 3 Pelagics on top of that..
what are people thoughts on the new laws coming in next month?
i still don't like how they have apparently made it easier with statewide regs...each region has specific fish which live there and I feel they need specific regs.i mean how hard is it to read a pamphlet on a new area you go fishing at....???

Judging by all the questions
Judging by all the questions that come up on here about bag and size limits , I think any way of making it easier, with one all regions regs pamphlet , has got to be a good thing.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Yes it will make it easier in
Yes it will make it easier in knowing the bag limits but I agree that each area has to relate to the habitat etc.
I was amazed that the bag for coral trout went from 2 to 1. They also classed it as a demersal usualy deeper than 20m.
In Dampier I'm catching all mine in 5 metres or less and they are thick, I would have though that would of been increaing the limit not reducing it.
