Quality
In both. I am a drifter between Diawa and Shimano. Like Diawa Rods better for some reason (perhaps they choose better names) but have Shim reels on most.
Latest weapon is a saltiga 30 OH 2S on a matching monster mesh and cant wait to play with something decent. Just Big wirlie wirlie interupt the plans.
Have a ball.

nice mate
i agree with not starting a diawa /shimano thread again!! i recently bought a saltiga s extreme rod for my stella 20,000 sw and the rod is awesome, better than any shimano rod for that particular reel so i'm batting for both teams now!!LOL good on ya mate hope you slay some bigguns on it!! cheers

Nice reel, that thing will give years of good service.
Agree with Ryan C, I own Stellas and Saltiga reels and both have their strong points, but I think the Saltiga rods are in a league of their own.

Very noice, I've been wanting a Saltiga Dogfight for quite a while now. That one has me thinking a bit harder now.
Cheers
