New Year's day fishing Midwest style

Headed south of Gero today with a couple of other yak fishos.
The easterly was blowing strong when we hit the water and we decided to head back in and wait for it to ease off a bit.
Finally got out around 10:30 and scored a small Dhui on my first drop that measured 56cm later.
Rounded out my bag with a fat 41cm Breaksea Cod later before the wind picked up again and we hightailed it back to shore.

looks like Sandy Bay, Cliff Head or Freshwater area?
Did a fair bit of spearing there 25 years ago, nice area but the flys were shocking there 3 years back
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.
