GDAY EVERONE,
IM NEW ON THE BLOCK JUST LIKE TO INTRODUCE MY SELF(NAPS)THATS MY ON LINE NAME REAL NAME JUSTIN NAPIER.IM A KEEN FISHER MAN BUT DONT GET AS MANY OPPORTUTUNITYS AS I WOULD LIKE TO GO"FAMILY AND WORK"YOU ALL KNOW HOW IT IS .WENT CRABBING IN THE SWAN WEEKEND GONE WITH NO JOY ALTHOUGH THE GUYS NEAR BY GOT ABOUT EIGHT(THEY HAD LONGER ROPES IN ABOUT 20 METRES)I HAD STANDARD NETS ONLY FIVE METERS.I KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME.ANY HOW OFF TO DAWSVILLE THIS WEEKEND TO GIVE ITG A GO THEN AFTER SUN GOES DOWN HEADING TO SECRET SPOT FOR TAILOR AND BULL HERRING.IF ANY ONE CAN PLEASE HELP ME IM CHASING GOOD CRAB BAIT BEEN LOOKING FOR FRESH SPLEEN CANT SEEM TO GET MY HANDS ON ANY.WHAT DO YOU GUYS RECOMEND

chicken carcasses are great
chicken carcasses are great bait for crabs especially the red rooster variety
I wish I had an emo lawn so it would cut it self

chicken farms, some poultry butchers, try maybe that local chicken butcher "Lenards" or something. Carcases that have strong smells are good. Remember to place nets upstream in flowing water, so currents carry the scent further. Crabs hunt with smell so if theres a little flow, scent spreads and more crabs can track it to your nets. Hope that helps man.

cheers for the tips chan.i ran out of time to get any chicken carcasses so i used mullet didnt really have too many problems getting our quotta.thanks mate

lamb necks
my mate used lamb necks last week with me in bunno last long enough and you place the wire through the hole in the bone to stop the crabs stealing them
