Night Fishing

Hey Guys Does anyone doing any night fishing around the Two Rocks area? I have always want to go out fishing at night but cray pots are worrying me. They are hard enough to see during the day let alone at night especially those black floats that have been sitting for a few months. We run past a couple every time with out spotting them so I can only imagine it is harder at night even with spot lights on the boat. Just interested if many people do go fishing at night? Cheers

If you can get out before it
If you can get out before it gets dark and plot a course out to your favourite spot, anchor ,burley, fish, then just follow your course at a safe speed back to the ramp you wont have any dramas.

sound advice
That was brilliant advice mjohns. It aways amazes me how simple the solution is and yet I still couldn't think of it.

Yep, should always suss the
Yep, should always suss the area out during the day, even swell conditions etc. Problem during cray season is that they get dropped and moved regulary so from one week to the next their location may change.
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
