Night fishing in summer

Hey guys, so got some nice lights in the boat now and was wondering if it's worth going out for a night fish if I'm going to miss the tide change (Tide on Friday is high at 7:30ish and I'll be on the water 8:30-9) and if it's still worth it, what kind of thing should I look for (ie. gutters, rocks, weed ect ect) withOUT catching any snapper. I know a few good tailor spots but was wondering if they bite all through the night. Hoping for something on the large side of things, Cockburn based btw.

Many thanks!
Damon.

P.S I searched for about 4 hours before asking, searching "night fishing" just brings up 2498576349876534897573498 snapper reports ;)

Tailor are definately caught after dark, but yer i'd be careful at night around reef etc, and inside the sound probably isnt a great place to be putting a mulie on gangs out ;)

Cheers guys, been out a fair bit in the sound so know it fairly well, won't be going near the back of carnac/garden/mewstone. Thinking of finding a gutter, possible shark/ray/mulla/tailor?
