Night Fishing - Surf : Recommended Light

Seeking advise for night fishing.
Can you recommend a reputable economical night fishing light?
Seen fisherman at the mole using headlamps - is there not a mobile versatile lantern that works?
Also, mostly read about using green light and not white light so as to not scare off the fish.
Searching BCF etc, there is a grocery list of stuff but nothing with green light?

Wouldnt read too much into
Wouldnt read too much into the white light theory, Ive fished with a regular headtorche for years without issue. If anything it'll attract fish. Perhaps an issue if fishing for more elusive species, mulloway etc. Lanterns work to light up your bait station and belongings - may not be enough in certain situations, tangles, knots, rebaiting, landing fish etc.
Got keen?

Get a good headlamp
Its worth paying a bit more for a quality bit of gear. Fenix, zebralight, nightcore and thrunight all make good units, as well as a few other makers.
Best runtime and cheapest common battery is found with single AA units. 18650 rechargable units have a longer runtime but are a bit heavier.

For cheap the Energiser headlamps aren't bad. You can get them at Coles, Woolies or Bunnings.
