Chin strap
Don't forget to take a chin strap to hold your hat on, the SE/SWesterlies have started so expect it to blow in the afternoons.

Same as here
Their weather is nearly the same as what we get here in Carnarvon and except when you get a trough form on the coast you will get SE 15-20 knots in the mornings turning S-SW 20 to 25 each day around 1100 -1300
There are lots of spots inside the reef and shore bound where you can flick baits and lure about

Quobba
South of Cape Cuvier to Black rock south of the Blowholes camps are not sheltered waters and with the exception of High rock mainly unfishable except for spinning when the wind is up,. North of Cuvier is partly sheltered and again further up behind Red Bluff.
Ningaloo has the outer reef to provide shelter from the swell but wind chop runs straight along the coast making any sort of boating very uncomfortable once you get clear of any bay.

We spent
a week there in August and the Trolling was awesome. Sails, Blacks, Tuna and Mackies were in abundance.
Bottom fishing in depths from 50-100m was OK but there was a alot of fish lost to the men in grey coats.
