Hi Ledge64, be careful of the mossies in Bali mate, went there for a week on the 24th Jan. came home with a bad dose of the shits, and then 5 days later, ended up in hospital for 5 days with Dengue fever. was bloody horrible experience, could not eat or drink for 3 days, had a superbly itchy rash all over my body for a week, and still struggle with feeling totally bloody exhausted. the only bright side to Dengue fever was that I lost 8kg in 5 days.

we were in Sanur, I had mozzie repellent on. went with 15 people and I was the only bugger who got sick, everyone but me was a good drinker, so maybe you should drink heaps of amber fluid

Just use a mozzie repelent
Just use a mozzie repelent with a really high deet content if you are worried about dengue and you should be fine. Bushmans have an 80% deet repelent.
