No mullet but got a feed

went out tonight despite the wind. No mullet for me but apart from the couple of fish 1 bony herring and a skippy this lot will taste great .

I am keen to give netting a crack down there when I stay at the olds to get a heap of mullet to vac pack for bait. How much is the setup Russ and it's only Wed night isn't it?

nets vary in price bit but
nets vary in price bit but anywhere from $270 through to about $350 then your licence i think was $45 . and yeah. wednesday night from 4.30 till midnight . you will find all the regs on the fisheries site.
hit and miss tho had a couple of good nights with mullet and a couple that have come up zilch. but the crabs and prawns make up for it . only just starting this game up so not too cluey on locations to go

ill be out next Wednesday for sure, and nothing better than a feed of fresh prawns! They should be running very soon!!!
I'll have my drop nets in for a feed of crabs 5am tomorrow morning, then shooting out to "try" and free my cray pots!
ill be sure to let you know how I go haha
