No snapper but a pb shovel

Despite hitting the water before 5 this morning my usually reliable snapper spot filed to produce.  Did get this fish which was certainly a pb for me y

Surprising there were no snapper Gordon, given the recent storm activity.

Strong current from the north even inside FFB

Wind from ESE so hard to burley effectively and I prefer to free-line baits with minimal weight so baits kept being drifted back to me.   Not complaining as always nice to catch a pb and watching it swim off strongly just add to the satisfaction

Good work

They are good fighters, I caught a similar size one in QLD, and have had two mega size ones a fair way north of Perth. From the surf are very dirty fighters and will dig in to the last bank / edge hard from my experience.
