Stupid Q
Probably a stupid Q
But how do you fill in the sheet's blank spaces to hand to Tim or Andy at boat ramp? Are the spaces supposed to have weights written in them?

Thought
Thought we were doing a weigh in on one set of scales? Or do we now have to individualy weigh our own fish if its a honour system?

Weigh In
There is still a weigh in Jimbo.
This form was just modified from Andy's Coipasa Classic. You can add the weights if you want to keep an eye on what your doing during the day.
If we collect them it would also form a bit of a makeshift survey on the number and type of fish caught on the day.

Stupid A
to a not so stupid question, you are right Jimbo, we will have the scales and be weighing all the fish that are submitted. The scoresheet should help onboard to keep track of your expected points and of coarse the species list.
The honour system was originally devised given the task of the weigh in being difficult without good scales. But now that Tim has that covered we are doing a proper weigh in.
Only the biggest fish of each species per angler will be weighed so if you catch 3 dhuies we will only be weighing the biggest of them, but if your deckie catches one too, we will weigh his/her's.
Hope that clarifies it for you.

Survey
Very good idea on the survey Tim, I know a few of the research boffins who might be interested in the data if it is collated correctly.

Thanks
Thanks I had spoken to Tim earlier and was under the impression we were using our club scales, but the scoresheet threw me off thought I would have to get some scales of my own.
All good thanks again for the clarification ;)

Info
Adam can you let us know how they would want it collated then. We could probably change things to suit their needs.

Catch Survey Prize!!!
Guys,
I spoke with Ian Keay this morning about the possibility of our catch records being used for research purposes. The fishwrecked scoresheet actually mirrors the catch data sheets that fisheries use to a great extent. So it would be very much appreciated if all competitors could complete the sheet with details of fish kept and released and if you don;t want to weigh the released fish onboard, record the length instead. As long as you denote centimetres versus kgs the data will be very valuable.
As an incentive I propose that all returned and completed scoresheets will go into a draw to win $50 for one lucky crew. So even if you only catch a couple of whiting and release a few undersize dhuies you could still win something.
